Village pensions, wild camping, or seaside hotels — a complete guide to accommodation on Turkey's most legendary trail.
Each has its own character and cost
The classic Lycian Way experience. Family-run guesthouses serving home-cooked meals, usually with breakfast included. Advance booking essential in peak season.
Legal in practice on remote sections. The limestone terrain requires a freestanding tent — pegs do not work on rock. Best on the coastal sections between Ucagiz and Cape Gelidonya.
Available in Fethiye, Kas, Kalkan, Finike and Antalya. Worth treating yourself to a proper hotel after a tough section.
Where to base yourself for rest days and resupply
Good for gear shopping and last resupply. Wide range of accommodation.

Best town on the western half. ATM, pharmacy, excellent food. Take a rest day here.
Upmarket resort town. Good for resupply and ATM.
Only accessible by foot or boat. Small waterfront pensions. Book well ahead.
Long beach, orange groves, pensions among trees. Sea turtle nesting site.
Reward yourself. Old city (Kaleiçi) has boutique hotels in Ottoman mansions. Stay 2 nights.
