Walking the Lycian Way involves real risks, including heat, dehydration, steep and loose terrain, poorly marked sections, wildfires, wildlife, sudden weather and remote areas without phone signal or services.
Everything on this site (stage descriptions, distances, times, elevation, difficulty ratings, water and accommodation notes, trip plans and AI-written tips) is general guidance only. It may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. It is not a substitute for your own judgement, a proper map or GPX track, local advice, or a professional guide.
You walk at your own risk. You are responsible for your fitness, your equipment, your water and food, your insurance and your decisions on the trail. Check the weather, trail conditions and local restrictions before you go, and turn back when in doubt. In an emergency call 112.
Trip planner and AI content
Routes in the planner are generated from our stage data, and short tips are written by an AI model. Both can contain errors. Verify distances, accommodation and transport (including dolmuş or taxi availability) before relying on them.
