Stage 20 is a gentle coastal stage — a rare easy day on the Lycian Way — passing through orange and lemon groves between Finike and the small village of Karaöz. The sea is visible throughout, and the walking is suitable for a recovery day after harder stages.
Karaöz sits near a beautiful cove with clear water — one of the best swimming spots on the route. The village is quiet and genuinely welcoming to hikers. Accommodation is basic but usually available.
Key advice: This is a good stage to start late and finish early. The swimming at Karaöz is exceptional. Stock up on fresh citrus from roadside stalls along the way.
